An old poem that I have just finished today!

The Perfect You

There was the river and there were you
And there was the moonlight shining
The stars dancing all around
Roses like a bed covering the ground
The moon, the stars, and the roses combining
The night was so perfect and you were too

You stood there and you were glowing
And the scent of you filled the air
My emotions were like the river flowing
How I envy that breeze that passes through your hair
I was mesmerized and it was showing
And you acted just like you did not care
So could you only be a dream or a fantasy?
And all of this is just unreal
And I was drowning in an endless sea
Mislead by the way I feel

My Valentine

Since I don't have anybody in my life I am reaching out for the single girls out there to apply and be my Valentine in this coming thursday! She should be beautiful and well.. beautiful :D

The deadline for accepting the application will be Wednesday 3 Pm GMT and any application coming after that .. well... I guess it will be considered also since who am I to say no? :P

The selected applicant(s) will go with me on a cruise in the pacific (of course she will have to imagine that cos I can't do it for real :$ ). I also might write a poem (she shouldn't count much on that either)!

Candles and Butterflies

Dinner by the candlelight
Music accompanying the night
And the brightness in your eyes
The innocence of butterflies
Your dreamy glare
The glow around your hair
And the scent of flowers lingers
Around you. And the magic in your fingers
Hand in hand we will walk
And with no words being said, we will talk

In silence let our eyes converse
To say poetry, verse by verse
Let them argue and discuss
The future that we planned for us
The promises we made
In a night that will never fade
The candles and butterflies
Until I get lost in your dreamy eyes

One great everlasting classic with such great music and lyrics! I think it was remade recently but nothing can beat this original piece. One of my all time favorites! Enjoy!

State of Mind

I am in the inside looking out
Prisoner of an endless doubt
Lost between a million notions
Of calm rivers and wild oceans

Frustration

Without further ado, here is a list of things that I find so frustrating:

1- I get an sms when I am asleep or taking a nap and before I open it I pray for few seconds that it is a personal or important message but it turns out to be from the bank or the phone company reminding me to pay the bill!

2- I have just fell asleep and my phone rings once and I check and it is a missed call from those stupid people located in Africa who manage some God knows what businesses!

3- My favorite team Argentina plays so well in the tournament and then reach the final and lose to the below par Brasil!

4- Someone tells me that there is something going on and then says no I can't tell you the details! Why did you tell me from the start if you are not willing to elaborate when I didnt even ask??!!

5- I am on vacation and I dream about math 102 (most of the time) and that I am being late to exam and no matter what I do I can't reach the university on time! The reason is that I skipped many classes for that course more than any other and I barely passed it! So I guess it is still haunting me :(

I am sure there are more but I can't think of any to add!
